Do a Google News search for ‘camden crawl’, and the first news item is dated January 21st, 2011 – this is, of course, wen the daytime fringe line-up was announced. Since then, and far be it from me to belittle the exciting news about the two CC Tips gigs going on between now and April, we have heard not a peep from the Crawl in terms of their line-up. The Comedy Crawl rumours have been bounding around Camden like nobody’s business – and as we’ve seen many of them are true – but in terms of the bands at the Camden Crawl itself we’re still very much in the dark.
They’re keeping us waiting rather a long time this year …
